Upon closer examination of the crime scene it is revealed that the object thought to be a hairball is not in fact one at all. It seems like the object is in fact..... a burnt out pom pom. The list of suspects has suddenly grown and moved into an entirely new direction.

The P51D is the best aeroplane ever made. A squirrel told me the other day that it could turn as tight as a Fokker Dr1 and was as fast as the Me262. Then a smart-assed gopher walzted in there like he owned the place and retorted that the 190D9 was the best aeroplane ever. He continued on about how it had a hidden jet engine located behind the plasma driven BMW engine, hence it's long nose. It also had air 2 air exhaust guided rockets that were 90% accurate at ranges between 2 feet and 100miles.

Based upon the obvious anecdotes from two of the world's best fighter pilots, Capt. Squirrel Nutz and Oberst Gopher Holle I have come to the conclusion that the P51D is undermodelled in Aces High and that when we recieve the 190D model I'm positive it too will be undermodelled.

Now, if you'll excuse me I must continue my debate about hispano vs mauser cannons with my cat.
