Or you could go buy a stock viper or corvette Z-06 and match it's performance for the 1/8-1/5th the price.

I saw the Spyker race at Sebring back in 2001. It qualified but didn't finish (12-hour endurance racing is hard on the machines and drivers). Only 1 team was running the Spyker - everybody else was in 'Vettes, Vipers, and Ferraris. The GMAC 'Vettes finished 1, 2 that year. I haven't heard much about the Spyker since then. I would suspect that until it wins a race, it will be a limited sell, kinda like the Avanti.
