Lan problem
« on: November 07, 2003, 11:04:41 AM »
I keep getting the error "Host connection lost" Udp session switch to tcp, when playing on a Lan. I do not have this problem online. When playing on the lan we can play for about 30 mins then everyone in the room gets booted, even the Host. I've tried setting up the host on the other computers and the same thing happens. I can play other games on a lan and never have any problems, only with Aces. What's the deal? Something to do with tcp protocol? Can I change the protocol to ipx or something?

Sounds like your running off a router..Skuzzy addressed this problem in another thread.  He also mentioned to turn off
any anti-virus programs..slows packs down coming in..may be timing out.
