Beef,
This is interesting to me because I've been there. Sometimes I would get so frustrated by some of the aspects of the game that I'd just let the next guy to see me blast me, and promptly log off. Guys, don't take this as a flame against AH, but Beef, I'd say take a break from it for a few days as was suggested. Go do things with friends and discover new things outside of Aces High. After playing Aces High for hours and hours a day, I'd sometimes feel horrible about the time I had wasted, and the good I could have done elsewhere in that time.
Just out of curiosity, how many of the adults here could have imagined playing this for hours and hours on end as a kid, and how many would have looked back and wished they would have tried different things, got out more, and not wasted their time in front of a monitor? That is excatly how things were going for me, until recently. My solution was to cut my AH time way down and do other things. Aces High is very entertaining, but it IS addictive. I would get so wrapped up in conquering bases hour after hour, and step back after a wasted day, and say "Gee, I captured 5 bases today, but who cares?" Again, this isn't a flame against AH or the community, but Beef, Aces High shouldn't be this large of a thing to you, because friends and family are more important by far. The community here is great, but it can't be your only social contact. Get out with your friends and do something, and eventually you wont be able to wait to jump back into your B17 and blast sissyfires out of the sky again.
Keep your head up Beef-Man.
