Two Front War frame 1 Results and AAR's
« on: November 08, 2003, 01:23:45 AM »
Logs are posted. http://www.webtreatz.com/tod/lognew.html
Details can be found below.

All Allied Targets were worth 500 points each. Had a target been destroyed completely they would have earned 500 points for that target.
All fighter aircraft are worth 10 points each.
All bomber were worth 30 points each.

Axis
37 Deaths of Axis pilots
72 Kills of Allied Aircraft

Allies
38 Deaths of Allied pilots
57 Kills of Axis Aircraft

Break down of targets destroyed by Allies with a value of 500 points for each target

Allied Points Earned
Supply Convoy – 50% = 250 points
Bridge near V52 – 100% = 500 points
Complexes East and West of Bridge – 0% = 0 points
Ack factory - ~ 20% destroyed = 100 points
Radar factory ~ 30% destroyed = 150 points
Fuel factory ~ 35% destroyed = 175 points
Ammo factory ~ 50% destroyed = 250 points
Depo near 11.9.4 – 0% destroyed = 0 points
52 Enemy fighters destroyed = 520 points

Total points 1945 points
59% bomber loss would reduce points earned significantly.

Break down of enemy aircraft shot down by LW pilots.

Axis Points Earned
P-51 – 23 shot down
LA5 – 5 shot down
P-38 – 2 shot down
P-47 – 2 shot down
32 Allied fighters shot down = 320 points

B-17 – 39 shot down
39 Allied bombers shot down = 1170 points

Total points 1490 points

Other stats to consider:
Allies had a 59% bomber loss
Allies lost 61% of the P-51’s
Axis lost 68% of the 109G10’s

Both sides battered each other with heavy air losses to both sides. The Allied bomber losses of nearly 59% is too costly with only earning about Ό of the possible 4000 points for ground targets.

Late now. Going to bed. Look for errors in my math. ;) Hope it was a fun frame for all involved.

Those 262s drove us nuts .. but shouldn't be as bad frame 2 considering the LW lost 3 of them. And correct me if I am wrong .. those aren't replaceable.

Wow, was there that much dammage done to the targets?  I did a spot check close to the end, and I didn't notice any dammage, but I didn't check every location.  Way to go Allies.  As far as the 262's go, one was a disco late in the frame after refueling and taking off again.  He was not allowed to reup, but should he count as a death?  Check the log for 68KO.

Didn't count him as a death. The logs show the following.

1 Ditch
2 deaths
1 disco

I only counted the Ditch and 2 deaths to get 3. Of course its up to Daddog on whether the ditch of a 262 means you lose it or not. Obviously as an allied pilot my opinion is a little bias. ;)

As for bomber damage .. Nightmares escorted the Arabian Knights to targets and I think we ran smack into your main defense force. Their were 262s, 109s, 190s all over the place. We did our best to cover the Arabian Knights and not to get dragged away but you guys were all over us. We turn and fire to make you break from the buffs and then others would be on us.

I think that AKs and us drew you guys to the SW in and running fight. Then Damned, AirMAgeddon and 412th and 325th hit you from the North much later after you spent alot of fuel and ammo on us.

I know from my perspective it was intense. I was finally swarmed and forced from the AK bombers as we neared target and dove down into the cloud deck with LW in pursuit. Broke threw the clouds and almost wetted myself when I saw that just below the clouds were the tops of mountains all over the place within 100s of feet. Almost slammed earthed!

Spent the rest of the night fighting in the clouds and mountains. At one point myself and Woz30bat linked up and a 262 continously buzzed us. I lost track of Woz30bat in the clouds. And then in a ravine ran into 2 110s, 1 109 and I think another 262 and finally was overwhelmed while trying to fall back to our rally point.

Was incredibly intense there at the end playing cat and mouse.
