Ricky Rudd wants in? Ricky Rudd? Maybe I should not ridicule these young speed demons:)

Very well written article,  Reminds me of the time I sat with Alain Prost on my flight back to Dulles,VA after the Indianapolis 500 in 2001.

People were falling all over him, we chatted mostly of europe and not racing. I think he appreciated more than anything else.  Great fellow, loved watching him race before he retired.  Still #1 in my book...

It's hard to have a nice lawn in sand. I'm from the north and enjoy running barefoot on grass. Tried that in St. Pete and got a foot full of sandspurs, ouch!!

I'm sort of wondering why someone would park multi-million
dollar jets outside?  The canopies are fine for deplaning passengers, but obviously not great for keeping the planes out of the weather.

Met the guy twice, has a place in Maine.  Really super nice guy, loves to talk aviation.  He really makes quite the impression on you as a down to earth guy who just loves flying...he'd fit in here real good!

Crap, I showed my wife the pics and she did'nt like the house, to modern or so such crap. My quick responce was "what house?"
:D

Thats the whan I stoped looking at the planes and said "oh ya nice house"

They have a fly-in the first Sun of the month as I understand for brunch and to try to sell you a lot. Big runway from what I understand.
