NTSB covert funding`
« on: November 08, 2003, 09:08:37 AM »
The NTSB recently divulged they had covertly funded a project with FMC (Ford Motor Corporation) and GMC (General Motors Corporation) for the past five years. In the project, the automakers installed back boxes in 4x4 pickups in the U. S. in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, circumstances during the last 15 seconds before the crashes.

They were very surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of
drivers in 91.2% of the fatal crashes were "Oh, ****."

Only the state of Texas was different. Where 93.9% of the crashes were "Hold my beer and watch this."

No, it was "you're spilling it!"
