Probably will have nothing to say about this then, either.

It happens. Or was this post an additional "justification" for Iraq?

No, **** happens.  This was done, with malice.  I suppose in your whacked world view, that since Hitler killed 6 mil, Stalin 30 mil and Polpot another 3 or 4, then we should not worry about it?

this just in from the UN:

http://www.un.org/news/un/important?/socket/boicsh/archive1369.asp

"War on Iraq Unjustified"

After carefull review members of the UN security counsle today decided that the 300,000 dead did not meet the UN's predefined limit of 750,000 set forth in resolution 1369.

When question why this limit wasn't applied to the UN's intervention in bosnia, UN public affairs coordinator Imeduhm Phoknglibral was quoted as saying: "I don't know why but it's still bush's fault, he lied!"

Let's not forget our friends, the russians.  How about the Russian Gulags and the millions of people who died there...

You are discussing those numbers as though they are real, rather than half-assed guesses of administration not famous for it's accuracy.

What does "opponents" mean? Are iranians killed in the war opponents?
What the heck is this in a public announcement: "In Bosnia, she said, it has taken nine years to unearth 8,000 of the 30,000 bodies believed buried in mass graves."
Does it mean "Don't expect confirmation on my numbers until long after I retire"?

Sure, if he killed all those iraqis in cold blood, they ought to have taken their millions of AK-47s and toppled his regime. Let's them count first.

Is the source of information the same as the one about WMDs ?

Same people who mentioned those 45 minutes or gave Jessica Lynch Bronze Star ?

"45 minutes" was a british statement and as for the Bronse Star, I am pretty sure Jessica Lynch, did receive it - no fraud here.

We have enough lies from our government without need to invent new ones or borrow from our allies, so please check your accusations before you post.

Thankyou for bringing this up. I would like to point out, as I have on many occasions, my wife is Cambodian, as are many of my inlaws. She lost her father and older sister to the Khmer Rouge. Likewise many of my extended family and friends suffered similar losses and witness such atrocities.

When I asked them, what would you have prefered given the option: 1) be left to sort it out   2) an invasion such as that in Iraq where there is a 50/50 chance you may lose your life or you may be freed... well they all said option 2.

They also (quite often) why didn't anyone help Cambodia? I just explain the UN sucks and the peace protesters ensured no one else stepped in. The commercial side too maybe, but then Cambodia does actually have some good valuable resources (forestry, minerals, gemstones etc).

Until you get me someone who has lost family to Saddam Hussein on this BBS saying "I wish the US stayed out" my opinion of those that the take the moral high ground at the expensive of lives while a dictator runs amock is you are nothing less than a cold blooded murder.
