Personally, I like the old way too.  But it does get to be a bit much with so many topics.  The only option I see to go back to the old way is to severely limit the number of topics we have, which makes it harder to keep important info from getting buried.

Pyro, and how about a mix?

I mean, put several categories:

  • General forums: Major number of them,I.E. all the ones we have now in it, plus the help forums, plus the OPEN scenario forums.

  • Private forums:The general forums that need a password to get in, CM forums,Private scenario forums, Trainer forums,etc...that aren't squad forums.

  • Support forums:the ones we have there now, plus terrain editor and free multiplayer ones

  • Squad forums: all the squad forums
That way we'll have the main forums at hand, while the more restricted are in other part of it.

but bassicaly I think that what we need now is one group that includes the current scenario, help and general boards,as they are the most needed ones in a general board, IMO.

In any case I think we need fast links to any of the boards, without needing to press "back" on the browser and then chosing the right link.

What do you think about this idea? any feedback?
