LOL

I be around.  Life kind of got busy for me lately, plus I have been hacking and slashing in DiabloII a little.

I have to agree with Indian, the game only gets better for me.  I am pretty sure that was one the first paying customers.

Have fun and I'll be looking to shoot you down!

Yep, downloaded it on first night of open beta. I remember flying over the canyons, seeing some low red cons, and diving in. Next thing I know I'm in the tower. Some alpha guy had lowered the boom on me...

My first night (long ago, think it was day one or day 3).  I flew over the canyons and flew right by a red guy. Never fired my guns.  Just watched.  Had no idea what I should be shooting at!! Went down to land at a field and found out how accurate the enemy ack was.

No idea what I was doing.  Was ale to take off OK, had rudder pedals, due to I used to fly WB off-line.  Flew the P51 because I thought that was the only plane available.  I seen someone in a Spit, and thought, " Hey, how did he get a Spit?"

Never did see too many cons the first few nights.  Few here, a few there, but very spaced out. Enough to engage.  Had so much fun!!  Oh!  To turn time back!!      Remember, initially the B17s had no guns!!!!!

My first kill was a P51 in a HO flying a P51.  Remember seeing him crash and the kill notification.  Cant remember who it was.

Hey how did people find out about AH??  I think I found out about it in the WB BBS.  I used to read the post there.

WOW!  So long ago!!  But sooo cool

I remember flying with a pilot named Crisis.  Haven't seen him since!  Remember flying with Moss too.

Well anyways!  Congratulations HTC!  You are doing a wonderful job!!!

Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

I started flying around 3 days after the beta opened, and first started whining for the Typhoon in December.

I've been here since day 1 as well.

I remember how hard it was to figure out gunnery and trim at the same time.  One of my most memorable first flights was taking off in a Mustang and killing 2 planes in one sortie and then enjoying the pure speed of the stang while being chased by two 109s.

It was my first multi-kill sortie and the next didnt come for another week or two

I remember the lack of explosions, fire, smoke when you shot someone down

I remember how cool the B-17 was when I first got in it (3D views: amazing )

I remember how frustrating it was to fly the unarmed B-17 (without bomb doors), as someone almost always found you, and shot you down

I remember the incredible tourque on takeoff (I don't think I ever stayed on the runway )

I remember how solid the connects were, as we flew several B-17 missions without any warping.  Which was amazing at the time!  (Connects are still just as solid )

AH has come a long way, and has only gotten better.  But it's been great all along!

Salute!
IC

Been here since DAY 1.  I remember the anticipation of the beta being released and the excitement of the first day when it was available for download.

I'm on a cable modem and I was complaining to myself that it was going TOO SLOW.    I was AMAZED at what we got in such a small download. OOOO MYYYY GAWWWDDD!!!!!

When the installation was complete, I had to get up and go out for a cigarette    Then....first flight of rob53....(target drone).....oh what fun!!!!  And the fun hasn't stopped!!!!

Thank You HiTech and Company for providing us with such an OUTSTANDING experience.  Everytime you release a new version or a patch, I reflect back to the day 1 release.

Keep up the great work!!!
And, Thanks again!!!  I LOVE THIS GAME
