when in any position (ei. tower, cockpit, hangar, etc) once the FPS have settled, open the text buffer and begin to type. As you are typing notice the FPS, and then hit enter, notice the FPS again. The FPS slows way down when typing and hitting enter. I noticed this when trying the vidtests and typing the commands in the text buffer.
can anyone else produce this effect on FPS?
