Two Front War Frame Results and AAR's
« on: November 15, 2003, 04:02:21 PM »
Logs are posted. http://www.webtreatz.com/tod/lognew.html
Details can be found below. I was surprise to see the exact number of kills and deaths on both sides. :) That is a first I believe. :)

As before all Allied Targets were worth 500 points each. Had a target been destroyed completely they would have earned 500 points for that target.
All fighter aircraft are worth 10 points each.
All bombers were worth 30 points each.

Axis
50 Deaths of Axis pilots
63 Kills of Allied Aircraft
94 Axis pilots flew

Allies
50 Deaths of Allied pilots
63 Kills of Axis Aircraft
113 Allied pilots flew

Break down of targets destroyed by Allies with a value of 500 points for each target.

Allied Points Earned
Depo at 12.8.3 – 90% = 450 points
Railyard North of A1 – 80% = 400 points
All hangers at A3 – 60% down = 300 points
All hangers at A6 – 0% down = 0 points
Trains running South and West of A2 - 0% down = 0 points
Truck Convoy running North of A50 – 100% down = 500 points
All of A50 (ack, hangers, fuel…) 90% down = 450 points
63 Enemy fighters destroyed = 630 points
3 of them were Me-262’s which reduce the number of 262’s for frame 3 to 6 total.

Total points 2730 points
14 of 27 bombers destroyed, 51% lost.

Break down of enemy aircraft shot down by LW pilots.

Axis Points Earned
P-51 – 24 shot down
LA5 – 6 shot down
P-38 – 11 shot down
P-47 – 7 shot down
63 Allied fighters shot down = 630 points

B-17’s – 10 shot down
Lancaster’s – 4 shot down
14 Allied bombers shot down = 420 points

Total points 1050 points

Allies tried to use jabo missions rather than rely on level bombers and risk losing them. The jabo missions were very successful. Targets destroyed and points earned were about twice of what they earned last week. Though they used less bombers (they are required to use bombers) their losses were still over 50% in their level bomber ranks which is way too high. Nevertheless even cutting in half the number of points earned by the Allies it would be a marginal victory for them. Well done Allies!

As always look for errors or omissions on my part.

The 63 came from the logs.

The hand count by fighter type I did by looking at the raw logs. Not too accurate I am afraid. Was late at night.
