Some people think that a world where 80% of the world's resourcees are consumed 20% of the population is somehow...erm...wrong.
Some people think we should do what we can to help these people, instead of just sucking money from them in the form of unrepayable loans.
Some people think that the South Aricans have made THEIR bed, and THEY should lie in it; years of opression of a majority population wouldn't exactly make them very popular in a country where that majority now has power.
