IMPORTANT - 11/21 Friday Squad Ops Cancelled

Gentlemen,

Its my sad duty to inform you that the Friday Squad Ops scheduled for tonight is cancelled. It will be rescheduled for next friday 11/28.

However, I have to check with other events to make sure nothing else is scheduled for that day. If an event is (such as KOTH) then we will have to reschedule for Dec. 5th.

The frame is being cancelled becasue the Allied CiC for frame 3 informed Daddog this morning he could not get orders created for tonight's event. He did then ask one of the others in his squads to try to put orders together.

But in my opinion this leaves almost no time for the orders to be disseminated to the allied squads (if orders are created). Many squads would probably not get orders until they get home from work and their C.O.s would be then trying to brief their pilots at probably T-30 at what they were flying and what their mission is, special rules, etc., etc.

That is a shame. I landed frames 1 & 2 and was one kill away from being an ace.

Well this certainly shows the importance of Frame C.O.’s doing what is expected of them, and if they are unable then to pass the ball off to a squadie in a timely manner. I had sent the orders out last Sunday.

Yikes, I don't know if the Shills will be able to make their numbers if we hold this next friday, many of us will be off to see family for Thanksgiving.

Its under discussion with the other friday night CMs about the schedule. We might have to just end Daddog's TWO FRONT WAR squad ops now.

Not only do we have a Thanksgiving issue in the states. But skernsk's squad ops was schedule to run:

Dec. 5th
Dec. 12th
Dec. 19th

If I shove him back a week that puts him into X-mas week. And then followng X-mas week is new years. So if I shove him back basically either 2 weeks on and then 2 weeks off and then finish. Or we wait until January for the next squad ops.

Will get back to you after resolution and decision made by the friday CMs, myself and flossy.

I might be there Friday next week.  I will be in Klamath Falls Oregon visiting my bro but I have been trying to get him to get into Aces High.  Maybe a squad flight will do it.

Will be on later though.

(BTW, I really do have a sheepskin lined bomber jacket that weighs about 40 pounds.  It will be great if I ever get stationed at the North Pole.)
