Expressing disappointment... HTC read

Ok, I admit you guys have one awesome mission editor. What purpose is it going to serve if noone wants to fly them? There seems to be no other way to get guys to fly them, unless ofcouse you guys (htc) show some interest and light that fire under their arses. If you show interest and fly a few, it might change things.

A well planned out mission WILL take out bases.

Come on Bish, you know we were hurting in the last 3-4 days. Down to 2 bases and noone wanted to TAKE, just DF.

Point being? HTC,if you could show support by flying in some missions. Maybe others will follow.

Another stupid request? Is there someway you can put like a "A or *" next to players when they are afk? Would be any key fuction. Just say that cause half the time i climb out im afk. When others log and say "whats up" or what ever it might be. Youre really not acting rude by not responding. Simple key stoke and "a or *" next to name in roster.

ALSO!!! In the mission editor, is there anyway you guys can program the math?

As far as, instead of us making missions and having to guess the take off times per flight...to get there around the same time. You would have the option of ETA. At that point what ever base i set the missions up from giving the ETA per flight, will give the start time per the WPs. So i would not have to fly every mission in Offline just to get the timing right. Nothing wrong with it, but if your using a missions with 6 flights thats a lot of off time just figuring out timing.

Well, you need to find out who is basically 'running the troops' online when you log on..in KNitland, when Zig's on, he always  seems to draw a large crowd for his missions, CavemanJ too, I throw one up on occasion, but have to admit that Cave and Zig have much more variation than mine.

Knights use mission editor alot IMO, I would venture to guess about 1 an hour during 'Prime Time' (U.S. time-6-9 pm EST)?

Funny. I just mentioned in an email to the MOL squad just the other day how much fun these missions can be. Especially Zigrats missions     The combined attack force (ground and air) on A25 a few days ago was a downright BLAST.  I would go so far as to enter Zigrats missions as to one cause the Knights have so many people now.

Anyway.  Central, take the lead with your squad and build the missions. People will join them. And then as you and others get better at building the missions and utilising that program you will get what you want. You have the tool. Just use it. Set the example for the Bishops as Zigrat has for the Knights and you'l see what I'm yammering about.

The mission editor is a great addition.
I remember Zigrat had to yell plead and beg in the beginning to get people to join. Now sometimes its hard to find a spot !
I heard there was a  nasty  little bug that stopped  Rooks and Bishops from using it though.

The guys are right - Zig runs great missions.

I think the trick is to build a reputation and you will get a following. When Zig logs in, people start almost begging for him to run a mission.

Probably best to do some small ones and as you get more success, you will get more of a following and be able to fill them out with more planes.

The mission editor is a great thing and works well but a lot of its sucess depends on the players that build and fly the missions.

Again, in Knightland, the mission editor really gets a workout.

About the math thing - a calculator is a handy thing. This is a lot like real flying and time/distance/speed calculations can be very useful. How about an E6B?

I'd join mission, but I never see anybody asking for members.

Do any Rooks do missions?

I'll try setting one up tonight.

You want the staff of HTC to organise the bishops for you?
If you are flying bish because the HTC staff are there maybe you should change counrties.

What Karnak said.  I never see anyone asking for people to join up for missions.

And another thing, every time I go anywhere near the mission viewer I've gotta sort through missions that dont start for 16 hours, have a stupid 'you can join until' time (eg 34:30hrs, WTF is that?) and just plain daft ones to find the real missions to join.
