The Beta Version Of My European Terrain Is Now Available For Download

  I had to toally redo the terrain.  This is a very early stage of it.  I put a few fields in for testing.  I would appreciate feedback.
  I say again, this is an early Beta release.  As of this moment, there are 6 or seven fields, with no cites or HQs.
  The clipboard map grid is red, which is bad.  I am going to change this to a flourescent blue or something in the next release.  The red lines make finding rook and knight fields very hard.  A hint:  look for some fields in Scotland, and Norway.

unzipped it to terrain tried too start it on H2H but didn't work fell back to desktop

how do i start offline?

I downloaded it.  What do I do with it?  Is there a way to fly on this map offline?

Hi Rendar,
Thanks for the work, and I have the same problem as Bug_EAF322.

I put in in Terrain and unzipped the zip file there.

Terrain option is there in H2H for flight creation but results in CTD when accessed.

OK I got it to work.

I put the .res file in the htc\aheditor\terrains directory.

Then I made a directory htc\aheditor\terrains\Europe and I put all the other files in that.

Then I started the editor, hit "offline", hit "setup", hit "terrain" and selected Europe.  Then go to the tower and select which field you want and hit fly.

OK:
Is the water supposed to be black?

There are missing panels or are they supposed to be water because they are also black?

Is there a way to transfer this terrain into the H2H arena?

Again thank you, I have no clue how to do these maps and appreciate the efforts of those who do.

PS,
Love the oil storage tanks and the city bldg on that southern most island field off Scotland(?)

Also loved the easy targets flying around the fields gonne do some deflection practice, thx HTC.

You couldn't D/L my terrain probably because I was uploading a new version.

If you fly from the Terrain Editor, the water will turn blue.  This is a bug that is being worked on by HTC.  HT is also working on making the terrain H2H playable.
