Nuking LA sounds OK.  Not as good as nuking DC, but not bad.

What happend to those two soldiers was no different then what happend in the riots after the Rodney King verdict.  Should we nuke LA because people when free to do so can be very mean to people they hate? That is a universal constant which many posters on this board amply demonstrate and expouse.

Despite the original title of this thread those guys were ambushed and shot. But then their bodies were mutilated by a mob of young men. Horrible as that may be.

Meanwhile get on with your fantasy nuking tangents, children.

Of course many in Iraq hate the US. They were abused and deprived by their own leader for many years. He of course blamed it on the US and they had little evidence to believe otherwise.

If a stable democratic Iraqi government can be achieved they will feel differently in the years to come as individual Iraqis prosper and experience freedom like they've never known.

It's one thing to attack an enemy that's shooting at you knowing that you'll be killed which is what your private and the kamikazis did. It's another to blow yourself up in the midst of unarmed women and children. Comparing the two does a grave disservice to the former.

Did you forget about Kuwait? Do you think the US wasn't very patient towards Iraq, giving them every opportunity to live peacefully while abiding by their agreement to?

Of course not, he's Canadian...

Many of these folks seem to have a very low opinion of their southern neighbor, these days.

But on the bright side, t's becoming like having europe right next door! Now all they need is the armpit hair and body odor.

Surrendering under a white flag and then blowing yourself up killing those trying to detain you as a POW?

Asking for help and then blowing the vehicle up killing those that try to offer assistance.

Forcing a man to drive through a checkpoint for the express purpose of remote detonating the vehicle he is driving, all the while holding the drivers family hostage under threat of death unless he commits the suicide.

typical european, supporting and protecting these types of people by proxy.   Probably because they fear them....

The europeans know the harm a militant islam can bear upon them and they realize the united states will not return a 3rd time.
So they cowardly look way.  again.

I know this wont suffice for all you black helicopter aluminum foil beanie types but army officials are stating this story is untrue.  The soldiers were infact stuck in traffic but were killed by gunshot wound.  Doesnt make it any better though

I know some real good people who are canadian.  None of them are french canadian though and dont seem to hold their french cousins in any sort of respectable esteem.

Pongo comes off as contentious malfeasoned french canadian.

Just curious.

I don't fear them ... I don't need to.

You will sure as hell fear them when they detonate a nuclear warhead in Wash DC or NY because the war will come to you in person.

But...I digress.  You are nothing to me.
