Help name my baby girl
« on: November 25, 2003, 07:31:30 PM »
One of my squaddies recently was blessed with al little baby girl.

Congrats again Zippatuh!  :)

So far the wife and I have not been able to agree on a name for our girl..expected now in early January (C-scetion delivery and we can choose any date after January 5th).

Now, we lost one child about a year and a half ago due to complications in the pregnancy and we have been reluctant to give a name to this child out of a form of superstision.  But, it seems like all will be well...we have no name.

Ideas?
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

just a couple bits of advice

1. don't name her after anybody (too much bs.  "why'd you name her after his mother and not me?")

2.  pic a name people can hear, understand, and spell without having to ask you to repeat it 3 or 4 times.  the cuteness of origanal names wears off long before the kid even knows their own name.  then for the rest of their life it's just a pian in the prettythang

If I ever have another girl (hopefully not, but *if*), I always thought Elaine was a really great name.

Taishia
or
Shaneequa
or
Taishika
...

Well okay, those are the only three I could come up with off the top of my head.

Then I googled for both "african american girl names" and "black girl names", why was every site pr0n related?

Eowyn... you live in Helm's Deep, don't you? :D

I dug out my AHCON t-shirt to get your real name... you need a 3-syllables-ending-in-A name for her; like Cynthia, or Helena, or Rebecca, or Amanda...

There are alot of great names for girls, you should have no problem finding a good one.

Caroline is nice, Emily too, Andrea,.

good luck with the delivery.
