Hi all,

I'd like to pick your brains for some suggestions on a code name for a project.  I can't tell you anything about it since some of you know where I work, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Basically, I'm looking for a code name that's a synonym or related to the concept of a 'Dark Horse', as in a 'dark horse candidate', someone who nobody thinks is going to win, but comes out from behind to victory.

BTW, for all you wags out there, I already floated the name 'Dark Horse'.  The response I got was that it might be a little too on the nose.

I think Chairboy works at the DOD or NSC, and we are naming the operation for covert military operations in either North Korea, Iran, or France.

How about "Project Thermopoly"  - A reference to the battle at the mountain pass of Thermopoly where 300 Spartans held off 600,000 Persions.  Obscure enough to not be "in your face" or obvious, but significant to those who care ...
