Happy TG, Chicago & points west. I think I'm just in time, though the HTC clock is off.

happy turkey day indeed.

Tomorrow I get to watch the Packers at 10:30 am, then listen to John Madden talk about six legged turduckens!

er, Wait.  Madden wont be there this year!!  He left.  Maybe he'll make a special appearance... turducken looks gooooood.

Although, I might have second thoughts about eating a food with the word "turd" in it.

[edit]:  I cant believe turd gets filtered out. [/edit]

When I was out elk hunting last weekend I found a bunch of wild mushrooms.  I'm pretty sure they're Matsutake.  I have been dying to try a new recipe for a wild mushroom and fugu stuffing that one of the professional mushroom harvesters gave me. I'll let you know how it turns out.

They say you have to be careful when filleting the puffer fish, but the book he gave me makes it look easy.

Getting the deep fat fryer warmed up, going to be a good turkey day.
