F22pro

Guys
I have an F22 pro. I just took it down from the closet and have not used it since my days of WBs about2 years ago. I was wondering if anyone has some good f22 files they could email me? Maybe one that has macros for AH?

If you have one for WBs that would be cool to.
I stopped playing Warbirds back in the day cause I had little time and the F22 gave me tendonitis lol.

One more question. I tried programming the darn thing myself and it works somewhat... but all the buttons have a long delay on them.. I am not sure what’s happening.

Well thanks in advance for the help.

My email is: gtoraiiswiftcurrent@hotmail.com

That's interesting. I just had shoulder surgery (stick arm) and am finding my F22 great therapy!  I hope your shoulder has recovered as well as mine seems to have, Rip.

GTORA2:  I'll email you some files as soon as I get home tonight.  As to the delay, I have no idea.

Buhdman, out

Guess that's not a fair assessment, I used Cadd Cam for many years as a designer for Boeing, using a big mouse pad for 'digitizing' loft lines, etc. for commercial and military aircraft..constant use of that, combined with evenings of flying, just aggravated it worse.  Yes, fully recovered, now I have arthritis in my other shoulder though!  Getting old sucks!

Sorry about your shoulder   :(  my tendonitis came from a 16 hour session at WBS one night then a 14 hour one the next morning.

I am sure the delay is from my programing.. not sure why, but the original file that was in the stick worked great, I just wanted the throttle on one of the hats so I had to clear it.   :(

Walt Thanks for the files!  I can't wait to get them!  :)

Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.

Hiya GTORA2!

I use F22Pro as well.  I would recommend customizing it yourself considering the use of throttle and rudder pedals.  (I use WCSII and RCS)

Eeek!  Thanks for the warning... I thought this stuff was kinda hard.

>>One more question. I tried programming the darn thing myself and it works somewhat... but all the buttons have a long delay on them.. I am not sure what’s happening.<<

This could be a number of things.
1. in your f22 file, is RATE set at a low number?
2. When I changed computers, I found that my old keyboard was not compatible with the combination with F22Pro and the motherboard.  I can't offer an explanation but when I changed it to a new one, it worked.

Hiyas,

Might check with Drex.  I know he uses the F22 and has it all mapped/decked out.  Plus he is a kewl guy and would likely send you any file/program he had for it.
