Can anyone suggest the best joystick rudder pedal combo for AH , with windows 98 OS.
Also is there a compatable rudder pedal for MS precision pro. I am now in the market, so please help.

Hoffman makes a kewl pedal that works with all MS sticks. I just bought a set myself. Better pedal than CH or TM has to offer, and you don't have to hold your feet 2 inches from each other either LOL. I considered getting a belt and strapping my knees together while using my CH pedals. Just wasn't a natural feel.

Also, Dieter Hoffman is a very responsive man to deal with.

Ya Heath but I just hated them pedals . Your so right about they are farther apart but you have to move your feet so damn far with them . Now these cheap ch ones are kinda close but love how easy they are to move sitting in my desk chair .

Been thinks that I can put extensions on them so that my feet can be in a more natural postion .

Got to say , flying is better with pedals but my aim is still off with them yet . HEY you drones in training  area HELP !!!!!!!

PS: Got a LogTech Interceptor stick coming to tryout with a CH Pro Throttle , as the CH combat stick has no 8 way hat , plus the top most hat is way way to far up there to use easy . Will post how this setup works , it's suppose to be here Monday or so .

I use CH Pedals.  Reliable, accurate, and the price is nice:

$38 from Buy.com
 http://www.us.buy.com/comp/product.asp?sku=10011395

If you have a lot of money, get the CH Pro Pedals USB.

I have to second Hoffman Electronics Simped pedals. Best I've had, and lasts forever.

Air_Spro:  I know, the prices on Ebay are crazy sometimes.  I have seen several bids on used CH stuff that are more than the Buy.com price.

However I have picked up some deals on game controllers in very nice condition from Ebay.  My favorite was a refurbished Logitech FF steering wheel & pedals that was as good as new but half the retail price.

You are so right , got this set up for $101.00 plus 15 shipping . Came last Friday . CH combat stick , Pro Throttle , and Ch pedals . But I really didn't know that the Combat stick was only a 4 hat view . So for right now I am using two hats to make up the 8 views . One on stick , the other on throttle . Not the best setup , was going to mod the joystick to make the top most hat 8 ways , but the damn thing is so far up the stick it really isn't that compy , and then couldn't sell it for use with out someone having a Pro Throttle .

What you think would be a good price for the Combat stick if I decide to part with it ? Works good np with it .

Another quick plug for Mr. Hoffman.

I just bought some hoffman pedals used from sprocket rocket (air-spro in this thread). I think he had them for about a year or so.

He shipped them to me. I hooked them up and couldn't get them to work. Tried everything. So I email dieter hoffman and tell him my plight.

He airmails me the complete electronic kit for the pedals along with directions on how to repair them, *for free*, No questions asked. I didn't even pay shipping, keep in mind, I didn't even buy the pedals from Mr. Hoffman. He just wanted to make things right.

Turns out the problem was a shifted magnet due to some apparent abusive shipping (nothing to do with the quality of the pedals).

The pedals themselves are typical German engineering; very close tolerances, no slack/slop anywhere, a solid heavy feel to them. They even have a heavier-than-needed (IMO/good thing) ball bearing on the main pivot point.

All in All, dieter hoffman has really left me impressed.

And by the way, looeee sent me an email earlier today saying he was going with the hoffman's.

So there! Neeeeener Neeeeeener Neeeeeeeeeener!
