That question you posed about what you would do if a bomb went off I found to be very educational.  I was watching the news the other night and they were talking about the recent Saudi bombings etc. and got to thinking that potentially you could have saved mine and my family's lives if I ever happen to be in that unfortuante situation in the future.

Got any more like that?

Buy some gold? :D

Seriously, I often see and hear of something and it instantly "clicks" and forms a usefull piece of data in combination with other pieces lying around my mind. Occasionally it is realisation that people are oblivious to something I thought pretty obvious and important.
Or sometime it just clashes with what I know and I see that something is totally unrealistic when other people see nothing wrong with the picture. When it's especially outrageous, I share that too.

Unforunately my memory is rather poor and I have hard time retrieving info on demand. My most interesting experiences are very-well supressed, usually being associated with a great stress. So some trigger is needed to make me think of them. I am trying to share my knowlege/opinion whenever the occasion arises.

I do find conversations on this board to provide a wealth of great knowlege for me. Even when the posters did not expect it to be a big deal or were contrary but indced me to do further research.

One of the issues I would like to discuss with people here someday is nutrition.
It is amasing how bad the situation is in america and how people do not realise the extent of the problem and the trends in effect.

It is similar to the politics and economics where both the mainstream and the prevailing opposition are totally wrong but the controversy make people believe that there is a scrutiny on the subject.

I was intending to write an extensive post but time is a problem.
