Looking for a good WW2 Christmas story
« on: December 05, 2003, 08:27:00 PM »
Hello all.
I have (regrettably) promised to write or translate a good WW2 christmas story for a local christmas paper.
I am looking for something nice, either as a source or a direct translation (English-Icelandic!). Something aviation related and the Christmas 1942 or 1943 would be just perfect.
So, can anyone help?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
