How can I maximize the performance of my Radeon 9600 Pro?

Also, I have a new MB, a Asus A7N8X Deluxe.  I am running at 133 FBS with a 13 Multplier with a XP2100.  I try to go to 166 FBS with a 10 multplier but it will not post.  Is there some kind of hard jumper on the MB?

I figured with this MB and the XP2100 I could get it up to 166 FBS with a 11.5 or 12 multplier.

Thanks

Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Your best resource will be http://www.rage3d.com a site devoted to ATI products.

There is a program to adjust your card called Rage3D Tweak which will allow you to fine tune it's settings.

Main thing for AH is to turn on AA and AS settings in your advanced display properties to removed the jagged lines in game.

The multiplier will be locked on your processor.

I have the same MB....but with an 2800 cpu.....was having a time with it at the default settings, It was rebooting about every 20 min or so....166..Muliplier at 13.5....reset the muliplier to 12.5 .....it's a bit slower than what the cpu should clock but it very stable now.
