The BCS system must go. Oklahoma can't even win it's own conference and they get to play for the national championship? They didn't just lose, they got annihilated. Why not have a 16 team playoff? Maybe that would make too much sense.

The way the upsets have gone, they should just have a scrabble playoff for the national championship.

#1 loses 35-7,#2 wins 52-28 but doesn't pass them.If this is the best the BCS can do,I'd rather see the traditional bowl match-ups.

Absoluetly beautiful. Every year I pray for a screw-up so big that it can't be spun away. They screwed it up with Florida St. v. OU 3 years ago, the screwed it up with Nebraska playing Miami instead of Oregon but they talked their way out of it. No way to do that this time.

KState had an out of body experience....OU is still the best team in the nation.

BCS does suck....it's about the money boys....funny tho, if a playoff existed, the tv revenue would still feed the colleges....I long for playoffs.

Many picked KC State to be in the top 5 for the year. An injury to their QB siderailed them. I don't believe many were suprised that KSU won, but were suprised by how much they won by.

I don't think this season is as bad as when they put a 9:2 team in the championship as opposed to a 10:1 team... but it's close. I do feel that all three teams deserve a shot at the title and picking two of them in the manner they were picked is pathetic at best.

They need to start narrowing it to 8 then having a playoff. Of course, the same thing is going to arrise in regards to 8th vs 9th, but that might not be as bad as what we're seeing now.

lol Rude, they were completely overwhelmed. A 35-7 thrashing in my opinion isn't just a loss, there's more to it than that. Some teams play well when ahead. Some teams rally in a close game. Some don't. Oklahoma just went into fetal position after the second quarter. IMO if you lose that big this late in the season, and don't even win your own conference you have no right in the nat'l championship game. That little running back for kansas state was awesome.
It'll be interesting to see what the sooners and LSU do. LSU's defense is fer real man. Georgia's a good team, but didn't look good saturday. I'm thinking LSU's gonna be nat'l champs.

If it ain't the #1 and #2 team in the Nat'l championship, then its not a Nat'l championship except to the fans of the respective teams.

Well, there is a perfect set up right now for a title game - after the bowl games. 1 and 4 are playing in the Rose Bowl with 2 and 3 in the Sugar Bowl. Come on NCAA, give us one mroe game between the winners of those two bowls.
