My brother likes dean and he is no idiot, but dean is.

this is gore attempting to steal the democratic party away from the clintons (who have effectively destroyed it). The clintons have made no secret about their desires for the white house in 08 and the democratic party is becomming increasingly hostile towards the inbreds from arkansas acting like they are the holy grail of democratic socialism. They are nothing but rot that has decimated the old democratics party and gave its electorate, the conservative democrats to the republicans in power.

Also,
Bush is finally beginiing to talk and act like a seasoned president. Per remarks made today with China about Taiwan.

The worst, absolute worst thing this nation could do right now is put a spoiled immature brat from vermont without nary a clue in the oval office. I do not believe that will happen, but who knows.

GRUNHERZ: He seems to think that more taxes and more regulation mandated higher wages and (possibly) more protectionsm will fix the economy and create jobs. That has never happened, not once.

It's not important what has happened but what people believe has happened.
Most people believe that it was laws and union policies that raised wages, protectionist tariffs that created jobs and foreign wars that protected liberty.

Being a democrat but repeating Bush's slogans - how could he go wrong? Just imagine his presidential debate with Bush - every accusation Bush can level at him will be thrown right back into Bush's face - and he get's standard "caring points" just for being a democrat.

Clinton destroyed the Democratic party by ... uhm, by maintaining the highest approval rating over an 8 year term in the last 50 years? Yea... that did it.

No wait... it was that dratted fake economic boom.... you remember it. the longest in our history.... that killed those pesky dems.

Orrrrr maybe it was those policemen who kept having less and less to do over the Clinton terms.... you know with less crime to fight. I bet Clinton used them to kill the democratic party... the inscrutable bastage!!

You dont believe that Gore got more votes then Bush?

Its a fasinating algorithm that the attorny general of Florida insisted on to decide if a voter should be barred from voting for a previos conviction of a felony.
If there was an ex felon named Jones. and your name was Jones. Then your vote was counted if you were white. But rejected if you where black. Even if felon Jones was white...

The white vs black comparison over rode all other factors including the exact spelling of the name.

Over 90 000 blacks that were never felons had thier votes discarded for that reason. Many of them lost thier votes for felonys comitted by whites.
Of course many white felons had thier votes counted.

Course the lady that arranged that little gem now works for the Washington line of the family instead of the Florida line of the family. She will likey have to serve as chief electoral officer in Iraq.
