It was a great night to be a Bishop :)

Our squad commenced Operation Northern Lights at 11am GMT on Saturday (that's 9pm here in Australia).

It was a deep-strike mission from F1 to F17, followed by bombing of the rook strategic targets in the northern part of the map.

Flying missions like these make all the difference in a sim like Aces High.  Sure, its fun to furball, but getting a bunch of guys together, flying an organised mission, and then having that mission come off exactly as planned, is simply the best fun you can have sitting down (I think).

Sorry for rambling, but a great night was had by all.

Check out details on the 'Mission Plans' page at our squad website.

I agree, Jekyll.  A number of days ago, a few from the 129 IAP decided to move to the Knight Front (we're Rooks), since there were only 3-4 Knights online, and we were about 3-4 strong.  Though our attack was more tactical in nature, 129 IAP was able to capture F14, then control airspace between F13-F14 for a time.  It is much more gratifying when there is some goal in view other than air victories.
