Suggestion For HT
« on: December 10, 2003, 05:42:44 PM »
Would it be possible or is there a way that GV's mainly the Tiger and Panzer's can have an external view for navigating in the thick tree cover?

i'm not an expert on planes, trains and automobiles, but i would think that tank commanders have some sort of porthole that they use for general driving and navigation, then opt to use the internal view for battle conditions.

been trying to run through the tree cover and besides the limited space between tree's its impossible to judge depth and position from the internal view.

Thanks,

JustJim

I've got nothing.

...Except that 's indicates possessive, s indicates plural.

Actually we used to have ext view in GV's, it was turned off pretty much due to popular demand.

I usually just drive from the gunner's position, using the rudder to turn.  You can see everything great and turn fine, you just have to go back to the driver's position to change speed.

When you are in the drivers seat of the tanks simply page up until your head pops out throught the hatch and save view. You can then save all your views and will be able to drive and see everything in front of you. You will need to set a view key to jump to to the dash to see the instruments.

There's is no need at all for external view in gvs.

HT turned off external views for gvs online a long time ago.
