Ever wonder what happens when a 174 LB missile hits tank armour at mach 5?

Check out the film links on this page:

The peppy energetic rock music in this video really emphasizes the FUN part of vaporizing people!

HHHmmm , nice smoke trail back to the launcher. Ever wonder what happens to launch crews after they launch their missle. Tanks don't travel alone, except in the movies of course.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Nice and all, but hell.. show me the tank afterwards... kind of looks like it just blows up, and flames engulf the tank, doesn't look like it penetrates the armor... I would think it would.. but it doesn't look that way. BTW it is Line of sight.... and I wonder what type of "angle of attack" it has, pretty small firing solution I'd suspect... if they mount the missle rack on a rotating platform that would be nice... fire on the move or something..

BlkMgk, the missile carries a non-explosive DU warhead, and does so at a velocity comperable to your standard APFSDS round from a tank gun. The benefit is that it outranges most tank guns and is carried by a much lighter, more mobile vehicle. You can rest assured that the destruction is total. I've seen aftermath photos of the tanks and there's hardly enough left to identify the vehicle.

I would hate to be driving the Hummer if the missle missed for some reason.

Scene: Hummer driving down the road in Iraq giving Hillary Clinton a lift during her recent visit.

HC "what does this big red button thingy do"

Driver "DON'T TOUCH THAT"

Hummer "whooosh"
