Well, for those of you who remember me..... I will be returning from the "Real" war in another week. Although I will only be home for 2 weeks of leave.

The war here is not exactly what you have been told at home. We are mostly doing quite well now. We've launched new offensives to take the fight to the enemy. As I'm sure most of you heard, we took out over 40 enemy Fedayeen when they tried to ambush a convoy. Actually we were ready for them and they were not ready for the M1's and Bradley's we had lying in wait.

My final redeployment will be in April, so I probably won't see any of you till then. I do look forward to flying with you all again in the virtual skies where the only real wounds are to our pride. I've lost 4 good friends to combat and that is 4 too many.
