I might be a bit biased, but I'll give it an A-.

There's this little problem with too easy field captures, and another one with the too far-seeing radars.

Other than that, the map is great. Textures are great, skins are great, planes are great and the clipboard map is great.

I have to agree with Jarski on the icon range thing; here, it's a lot easier to sneak upon unsuspecting people and to escape tight situations due to the great camo paintings that actually don't stick out from the terrain :aok

Jarsci, lets not get things out of context here please.
I didn't say I "owned people with the La5"
Rather, that I was "able to kill with almost impunity" with it.

I had my head handed to me many times, believe you me.
All I meant, was to point out that the La5, in this setup, was able to allow a hamfisted dweeb like me do better than I normally do.

I still think having the 190 more available would have given a little more balance (on an already outstanding setup), and that is just my opinion only and not meant to be a whine.

As far as not being on when LLv34 was flying, I honestly couldn't tell you, but think it is unlikely that I/we didn't cross paths. hmmmm..come to think of it, that may explain all the lead I found in my shorts LOL.

Cheers,
RTR

Well made map with the unique backwoods fields, villages, tank battle towns, skins and textures. Balanced mid-war planeset, where even the Hurri, P40 and FM2 can survive and kill.

I don't like the late war planesets, because the planes simply fly too fast there. Dogfighting is so much more enjoyable with slow planes.

Regarding the dar settings, I agree with the rest of you. Shorter range next time, please!

FinRus?

One of best map ever made for CT hands down.

You dont like? I like to see YOUR perfet idea about CT-map.... You allready make some studys, tiles/skins for ur "master map"?....Silence?

Some of you come up with "Lets have a Yak9U!"-agendas. Its just stupid(imho). Lets play "what if" BoB map with -44/45 planes next time...

Nothing enough?

B+

Love the balance and even a US navy pilot wannabe like myself appreciates flying the 109G2 once in a while :)

Great map, Great Graphics Wonderful SKins.  A+

Plane-set.  B-  Bf-110 as an equal attack with the Boston...NOT!

Extreamly Fiinish bias on the base capture ordeal settings...i.e. maned ack...etc etc etc etc etc.  Poorly maintained F+

Overall C-

B

Fantastic map!
Downward visibility was more difficult in this map than any other map I have seen in AH.  While this frustrated me at times, I also recognize that the downward visibility probably more closely resembled reality than any other map.

Due to real life events, I only flew this set-up last weekend.  It probably deserves a better grade, but I just didn’t get enough of a chance to get excited about it.

hey...terrain & skins?  do kudos actually need to be given?  i thought that was an understood.

some of these terrains, namely the ones created lately, are out-*****ing-standing.

Assume that peace didn't break out in Aug 44 and lets try it. Remember people we don't have to recreate only battles that occured in WW2. We can in fact examine some of the what-if events. Besides the main reason for doing any of this is flying aircraft in possible matchups rather than the constant Spitfire/LA/N1K/Pony swarm of the MA.

I give the setup a B+.

I personally hate flying Russian, or RAF planes, but against the 109 190 and FM2 the P-40 was nutin more than a target. So I learned the Hurri IIC as best i could.

Hats off to the Axis squads , they kicked butt this week IMO.
