Mars, thanks for posting those shots. It seems to me you have your head position raised in these shots. Was that for the screen shots, only? Or is that where you saved your head position for aiming purposes? Please elucidate.

Your bringin a knife to a gunfight Jack.

In this continual exchange of furballers vs. strat guys you have no juice.

If you were any good a stratting it would be different. We bust heads with Beet all the time. He's good at what he does.

Your good at talking.

I can't hold a candle to the vast majority of furballer posters here. But I know what I like. Every sortie is to learn and do better in the chaos that is the furball. Have a Levi or WT sortie..

You just keep on with the hamster wheel.

But as for buttsniffin, you haven't a clue.

You'd have to work at it.

I have my views setup the same way. I have the seat raised as high as it can go before the pipper is no longer viewable at the top of the HUD. It improves "over the nose" view for gunnery.

Some people use an erasable marker and mark their tube where the center of the pipper is. They then raise their seat ALL the way up which provides even more "over the nose" visability. I liken this to screwin' with the gamma when night falls ... I don't do it cause I feel its gamey ... YMMV.

Same here. With the Hog with it's big HUD you can raise it quite a bit.

Got your posters mixed up again poop.
Wasn`t me said you buttsniff till ya die. I said you was in butt sniffing mode i.e. butt snuffer. Lord only knows you wouldn`t do it till ya die. Geez that would mess up the old Holy Grail K/D. :D
My suggestion to you is try the game called AH. Ya just might like it.

The thing is, Mars01, that over here in western Europe, you will never see a furball like that  - unless you stay up into US Prime Time - between 2am and 5am here. I often play when there are only about 200 online - sometimes less than 100. However, I did stay up one time till 3am here, and shot a film getting a 9-kill sortie.

As to your screenshots - hmm, I notice the vast majority of cons are Spits and LA7s . Oh wait - you are in a Spit ix yourself. ;) never mind.

So, Beet, you're beginning to realize that the AH game you play is vastly different just six hours later in Prime Time US?

Ahh now I get the disconnect.

Yeah the LA7s and spits are rampant.  Not much will change that.  Yeah flavor of the month has been a spit for me, but I like to fly a lot of different planes.  It all depends on the situation.  I don't get too wrapped up in that tho - to each his own on what they like to fly.

Oh for Gawd's sake, Mr. Toad. Your furballer attention span deficit syndrome is really beginning to tell in this thread. What the heck are you on about that I'm "beginning to realize that the AH game you play is vastly different just six hours later in Prime Time US"? More than TWO MONTHS ago I said that very thing myself - on page 3 of a thread by Fester. By the way, you participated in that thread, so don't pretend you didn't see it. The problem is you just don't pay attention - so I have to go on repeating...  To save you having to follow the link, what I said is here. Now study the third paragraph very carefully, and note the date of my post. Read it carefully, and slowly - so I don't have to repeat myself.

WT - nice film... but why am I not surprised that like all these furball films I've seen so far, the sortie took place in a Spit V?  I'm waiting for someone else (other than myself and Grunherz) to post a 6+ kill sortie in a 109.

Well, beet, you change positons more than SH did. Hard to tell what side of your own arguments you're on from one week to the next.

Still dodging the fuel disparity I see, even whilst you complain of too many late war aircraft.

Well beet you and I know a 109 with the exception of the F model is not setup for a furball. Now granted drex can head in low and slow into a furball flying a Jug or anything else for that matter and come out the other side with a bagfull but he is an unusual pilot.

Some A/C are setup for it, some aren't.  A six or better kill sortie in a 109 while being an accomplishment is devoid of times of being in that "Aww jeez I'm in deep do-do" flavor..

Your above, you swoop, you kill, you extend. The is no "all hell breaking loose from every angle" to it.

It's a rinse and repeat film. A successive series of 1 on 1's from a perch. It's not a 1 on 5 or 6 with your hair on fire. Although I know there are exceptions out there,  I haven't seen them.

While still being an accomplishment is lacks a good "read"

WT has a few Pony films that are a good "read". Think he killed me in one of them..
