Just when I was getting back into AH, starting to feel that old feeling again, life decided to toss me a curveball.

I will not be returning to the game for at least 30 days, possibly longer.

My father has fallen ill, and the outlook is quite grim. Needless to say, my attention will be on my family for the near term.

Secondly, my HOTAs Cougar decided to get all fouled up, so even if I felt up to it, I could not fly.

I know some MAW read this board, so if you guys would be kind enough to pass this on to the squad, it would be appreciated.

To all the great people I've had the pleasure of flying with and against, especially Slapshot, Innominate, Curval, and No-poop, be well, be safe, and I hope to see you guys soon.

Your news sucks! This has been a sh@ty year for a lot of people, it sucks that you have to join the list. I lost my dad this past March and it sucks! I hope things work out for the best and turn around for your dad.

As for your Cougar, I thank my lucky stars when mine comes up without problems, so I feel that pain too. Love that stick tho.

Muck, I am sorry to hear this news. I know where you must be right now, emotionally, as I lost my father 3 months ago. Hopefully your father will pull through, or at least will not suffer and I pray that peace will find you and all your family during this difficult time.
