not recognizing sticks
« on: December 17, 2003, 07:10:39 PM »
Not sure if its a bug or not, AH2 will recognize the sticks (CH Prothrottle, CH Fighterstick, CHPropedals) but won't register any changes in their axis except for the first listed stick (Throttle).

They are listed in the set up joystick manager on AH2 and the sticks do work fine, including in AH1.

I went back and worked on it, no matter what I do, I cannot get AH2 to recognize more than 1 CH joystick and then only the first listed stick on the control panel.

Any suggestions?

You're kind of vague on what you did when you "worked on it".

Did you map each axis and button to the proper control in setup-controls-select joystick?

Try that, or just copy your joystick configuration files from AH1 to AH2. They work in both versions.

Not really the right place for this but...

You can copy your settings/sounds and sights folders from AH1 to Ah2 and skip doing all the setting up work again altogether.

Cool, will do thanks gents... I'm really not sure why AH2 wouldn't recognize the sticks. None of the axis would move or change for anything but the first joystick listed, the throttle.

It might still be working correctly. Map one, hit ok, then go back in and see if it its changing.
