Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. ... Bertrand Russell

Creamo - no need for mock mash. I just eat more salad and vegetables. Fortunately I enjoy both. Just yesterday I was out xmas shopping with Tomato. We stopped for lunch, and one of the items on the menu was a burger with various salad items. Looked good, but I was put off by the "potato wedges" that came with it. Would have been a disaster! So we both ordered the goat cheese salad instead.

There's another place we used to go to that served a 10oz. ribeye. It was great! But it came with some kind of French fries. So we would ask for salad greens in place of fries. No problem.

Sounds like you were eating bucket loads of potatoes before you tried the Atkins. If you were eating that AND meat in the same meal, and you enjoyed pissing it up on vodka (did you say 40 vodkas? ) then that would explain how you got to be so fat.

I'll pass on the recipe, thanks. :D

Beetard. :p

Well, do as you see fit. Cole Slaw IS veggies, just adds the crunch as most people think Atkins is just bacon and meat. And the mock MP are just more veggies, cauliflower. Eat a salad or better yet eat mashed potatoes made out of cauliflower. The latter is filling and you can't tell the diffrence. That was my point.

And don't avoid cheeseburgers. I eat at 'Jack in the Box' a local fast food chain 3 times a week. I get the Ultimate Cheeseburger meal deal and my wife eats the french fries, I eat some too, but just a few...I just throw away the top bun and trim off the crust of the bottom bun. It's still filling as hell and you walk out feeling no worse than if you had eaten the entire thing. Better actually.

If it sounds like I was eating loads of taters, yes I was. If you sound like you don't have a full grasp on the diet yet, yes. I never had a belly as big as yours even drinking hard, but still got to 225. If you use this diet strict, you will see your donut again, I guarrentee it!

Good luck.

LOL Jack in the Box! My ex-wife (American) used to call that chain Junk in the Box. I used to see those all the time, but never went in one. I used to like Arby's though.

I never hit 225, and I'm 6-1 in height. How tall are you? I was never unable to view the donut. Could have been that my belly was in fact smaller than yours when you maxed out, or could have been that.... ;)

My diet was the "pseudo-Atkins". It was potatoes with meat that was doing me, and maybe too much pasta. I've changed all that, and now I find I'm full after eating much less than before.

Arby's is just expensive, and there is no low carb worth there.

Jack in the Crack is what it is, crappy food but the Ultimate Cheeseburger is the Atkins dieter's bliss.  I'll eat 2 more this weekend.

Beetard, I'm not attacking you, I'm digging talking to someone on the diet I struggle with every day. Not that it is so hard to live by, it's just cool to discuss how easy it is to work with people on it. I'm trying to help, nothing more. It's not  Pizza map discussion. I still fly the Dora!

Oh, I'm 5'9" btw, but I still find it hard to believe you never saw 225 and especially saw your donut all in the meantime. ( I meant the love rocket, not a gun.)

Basically Im calling you a liar, so hook up on my advise.

Nope. Came close to it though. Thing is that I have small bones - small hands/feet, arms & legs aren't fat. And that pic was taken after 5 days in the US! So even though I can sport a belly as big as yours was, I could still maintain vis. on the donut, and my overall weight did not go past 16 stones. That's 224#.

people who don't use their turnsignals and men who go on diets are the most annoying people.

Lazs!  I thought you were going to say that women who don't use turn signals were the most annoying of all, and should be deprived of their voting rights, which they should never have had in the first place. ;)

I love the flash on the cameras at our intersection here in Colorado SPrings.  Nothing like seeing a car run the redlight, only to see a flash as the camera catches the imbecile.

Flat out, it should be a $2500.00 fine and no license for 90 days and the fine must be paid before you can drive again.  Hit them where it hurts, the pocket book, and they'll eventually stop.  3 offences in a year for it, and you lose your license for life, 2 offenses and you lose it for a year.

I think that might just curb it.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

women should of course not be allowed to vote but they should be able to drive if they pass a simple defensive driving course on a race track.

men who go on diets should not be allowed to vote tho since they are either movie stars or womanly men.

My biggest pet peeve is when you take a girl out for the third time and she gives you the 'It's too early from my last breakup to get serious with anyone' routine.

I also don't like cabs without meters.
