Night does not suck - night is when I get a majority of my kills - when the guy cannot see me. Night offers concealment - true under-dar raid opportunities. Aside from the channel 1 *****ings, night offers a short lived element of surprise that few squad commanders can do effectively during the daytime.

Do you really believe this?  As short as night is, and the fact that you've spent 45 hours online this month... you must realize what you suggest is a near mathematical impossibility.

Why not just bomb buildings?  Or is the AI ack too tough?
Fly the offline arena... I'm pretty sure those drones will not be able to see you.

WW2 night flying, other than highly inaccurate bombing raids, was a small part of the air war.

Additionally, we don't have "night fighters". We have a few of the day VRF fighters that were hastily pressed into service until night fighters were readied, but those didn't do much in "real life flying".

night should only be allowed during the euro times...  they are the ones who like to hide from each other anyway.

The ONLY thing I like about night is when it`s over . It makes me want to skip flying when I log in and it`s nightime . Sometime my schedule doesn`t allow me to pick and choose . It`s a real aggrevation . If this is what you were going for ....you did it !   >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>TD

Wolf, this may be true but consider that those pilots were playing for keeps.   We are playing for fun... the thrill, challenge.

Consider this:  Sneaking up on a guy and killing  him unaware is fun, but fighting a guy with the end in doubt, can be downright exhilarating.  One really good fight  is more memorable than 10 vulches.  IMHO

I bet you have a better memory of a time(s) where you fought 3 guys, got 2 of them, then managed to slip away... maybe even got all 3.. than you do of sneaking up on some random guy and blasting his AFK  butt outta the sky.

i remember taking on 4 (or 5?) and shooting them all down in a Spit V on the deck, the last kill used up what little i had in .303's remaining.

I triumphantly RTB, touch down, and some fahg named 'WldThing' vulches me on the runway...
