Force Feedback Recomendations

Well I finally wore out my second MS Force Feedback Pro. I contacted MS support and was told that it is now obsolete as of Oct 02. I'm looking for a good midranged price force feedback joystick for AH. Looks like another couple of months to wait on my Mauser, either that or quit AH till I get the new stick.

i like the ms ffb2.. same basic design as the PrePro (8 button) with FFB...
iirc, ms was supposedly getting out of the j/s biz which is sad because the optical pots on them are a good idea... they did have plms with hats and trigegrs going out after extensive use (triggers much better now, tho)
try seeing if they still have some in stock

also there's an article on the BBS somewhere about how to repair/replace the trigger and hatswitch sensors for these sticks...

What Whitehawk said..FFB2 stik is a little less clunky than your pro FFB but the buttons are not where they should be...Just picked up Logitech Extreme Pro 3D(non-FFB) today cause it's button layout and stik feel remind me of the FFB Pro.

Thats the one I got sirloin..I really like the feel and the layout of the buttons. My only problem with the logitech stuff is the base falls apart where the stem attaches to it. I hope the pro is better built.
