I tried it off line and it does improve joystick handling (on my machine at least).
It only improves I/O performance according
to MS.
I'm one of those that needs to run my G400 max at 1x Agp.
When I setup Dx7a It enabled 2x Agp and I had to set it back again.
I also had to readjust my settings(stiffer)
for Aces High as it was to soft.
