Spot on, Levi. I would guess that way too.
In numerous occasions, in the times I fly H2H games I would sometimes see people accusing me of a 'cheat'. So I ask them 'just what exactly do you think happened, that you accuse me of being so'
They describe the details of the engagement on their own accord - which, from my point of view, is about 99% bullshi*, where they leave out the zillion mistakes they made, zillion possibilities and zillion oversights. If everybody flies in the way the 'cheater accusers' describes themselves, nobody would be ever shot down - I mean, when nobody makes any important and fatal mistakes, how does anyone ever get shot down?
Not to mention elaborate and comfortable exaggerations in relative E states, speeds, positions and etc.. in those rare cases where a film actually exists, people go over it and easily discover that a lot of the claims are exagerated as can be. Most usually we can assume that when a certain 'cheat account' is described, the person being shot down is actually slower than he claims to have been, the person that shot him down is actually faster than he is claimed to be, and the situation is most certainly not as claimed to be.
So, if there's no film, it's bunk.
