This is the message I received today from Joe White (John "DOC" White's son.

"Hi Alan,
This Is Joe, John's son.  I wanted to let you know that John passed away of cancer while he was sleeping yesterday here at my house in Singapore.  He wanted to be cremated here in Singapore and bury his ashes next to my Mother when I go back to the states in June.  I want you to know that he really enjoyed all the camaraderie he had with all you guys and he considered you a good friend.  If you have any questions I can be reached at joewhite64@yahoo.com.

Take care,
Joe White"

John was a good friend and he devoted a great deal of his time not only flying Air Warrior but spent a great deal of time working as a staff member in Air Warrior. He told me that once his move was complete and settled in (in Singapore), that he wanted to start flying again at Aces High. Sad to say, that day never did come. DOC, you will be missed . GOD Speed.

I worked and played alongside DOC for along time, I will miss him.

Last I heard he was dearly looking forward to coming back in and flying, what a loss.
