why 1GB memory
« on: December 23, 2003, 07:09:55 PM »
hmmm .. i've posted that in a new message. should have been attached on my former message about AMD64. Sorry

------

well ... to be honest i've fitted 1.5GB Memory into my PC becasue i belived that more memory would speed up some things. Thats was / is Bull....

There dosen't make any difference on AH or AH2. But when i use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and sometime Indesign at the same time, it makes it a bit quicker.

After your posts i'm using only Slot 1 and 2 with DDR400 now.

Thanks for helping guys.

Its not gonna make a bit of difference in AH. Maybe in LOMAC, IL2, and intensive games like that.

When 1gb comes in handy is if you do a lot of multitasking. Photoshop and such programs love ram.

I've been running 1g for a few years now,  it makes a huge difference in IL2, I also have less lock ups when handling very a large images or editing film.
