AH2 tree flickering shadow bug

the tree canopies will flicker between these states of dark light
and inbetween when flying and sometimes they remain
completely in one of the states shown in the highlighted area.

settings were max detail at 1280x1024 and the anomoly is present with or without aa and af enabled. on any ati control panel setting (performance or quality etc)

Nicely captured - I get exactly the same effect and was wondering how to describe it.

I am also experiencing the intermittent loss of cockpit art in the SpitIX and the Bf109 as described in other posts, along with flickering ammo readouts in the Bf109

Clipboard still disappears behind cockpit frames during movement, but appears correctly once static.

Regards

Terrain Twinkles here also.......also a Radeon9800Pro card.

Again....wonder if it is confined to us ATI Radeon users?

Could it be rendering?

Hell....I dunno.

Same card, same result. Doesn't concern me as much as the crash to desktop everytime ordinance or bullets hit the ground.
