Air France & the 13 missing passengers
« on: December 27, 2003, 12:06:02 PM »
Has anyone else been following the news about the cancelled Air France flight?  For those just joining, some Air France flights were cancelled due to credible information that they might be used in an attack.

Last night, I read in the news that 13 of the passengers from the flights were on the terrorist watch lists.  Holy crap!

Next, I read that there is speculation that the planes were going to be used to attack the Las Vegas strip!

!(&*@#(*@#

Now, I hear that those 13 passengers caught wind that the flights were cancelled and then didn't show up for their flights.

1 + 2 + 3 = Jeepers, was a major terrorist attack just avoided?

I was thinking somebody "compromised" the cancellations. Seems like the 13 of interest got the word.

Gee, I wonder whether it was the American or French side who 'compromised' it.

Well, it just causes more noise in the press when these people who arent terrorists, are turned away from their flights.

Instead of circumventing the language filter, why don't you just think of a different word?
