How to you edit what programs automatically run on start-up?

Step by step instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

There's a 'startup' folder in your start menu, put a shortcut to the app you want there.

Startup Control Panel is pretty good for swapping stuff in and out

No msconfig is not the way to do it in XP.
You should go to control panel/adimin tools/services/
And then select wich ones you want running.

Or a other way is to download end it all.

For services, yes - although it's best to get an adult to help you with services.
He doesn't look like an adult, but this nerd knows his services.

Ok, and what if it's not a service that you want to run?
