Yup, the aircraft FM really sucks, but if you just want to sight see then it's fantastic since the terrain is one of the best out!  Ground war, however, is the best thing about WWIIOL.

So yes, it is worth a try!  Make sure you have a fast system tho!

Its more than worth a try. Its the best ground combat sim on the market today, IMO.

The air war is very different than AH, though. Not as horrible as some here have said, but there are unfinished parts in the damage model and ground handling model.

That being said, over in WW2OL, the close air support provided by aircraft has a huge impact on the ground war.

But it is definately past the "suckage" stage that it once was in, and is a very fun ground combat sim.

ya last time i played it,,i was very happy with the ground war there,,very realistic,, you can hide behind srubs and trees with out being seen,,and the grass along the roads and diches are cool,,,easy to flip your tank if your not carefull,,you can also just be a ground troop and join in trucks full of othere players,, join in on ground war,,you can catch rides on tanks into battle if you dont feal like walking all the way there too,,lol

as a flight sim aces high beats it hands down,,but as ground war goes,,i would have to give the edge to ww2 online
