"Florence, a bull terrier belonging to Britain's Princess Anne, has attacked a royal servant only days after savaging one of Queen Elizabeth's dogs which had to be put down, "

Just wonderin, How can they be sure it was Florence and not Princess Anne?

Bull Terriers are my favorite dog breed. They are awesome. I dont know why it attacked that servant, but the idiot probably had it coming.
He was just a servant anyways.

Because most people can tell the difference between a dog and a horse.

The lesson here is to stay away from Princess Anne if you don't want real trouble.:D

Where I used to live years ago,my next door neighbor had a pair of English Dobermans which were almost as big as horses.  They stood about 4' tall at the shoulder on all fours.  And at least 7' tall on hind legs.  They were the goofiest things I'd ever seen, and always seemed glad to see me. I'd try to pet them over the fence, when they stood up and placed their paws on my shoulders.

I had a female Doberman at my house, very docile and well behaved dog.  She musta driven those Dobermans next door wild.  They never jumped the fence, but I think they could have anytime they wanted.  The fence was at least 6' high.

I wouldn't blame the dog because all this comes right down to the owner.  I bet the princess brought it up to be a viscious dog and attack men.  Aristrocracy is not immune to poor white trash it seems.

I lived on a corner property.  One morning I woke up to a dog howling.  I had never heard this dog before, but he lived next door and I had seen him.  I was up early in the morning and listened to the howling for about 15 minutes before going outside.  My neighbor's German Shepard had hung himself over a chainlink fence.  It was literally choking to death.  I went outside and ran over and extricated the dog from that situation, without even thinking it might try to bite me, it growled at first but then knew I was there to help him.  I untangled that German Shepard from certain death.   Don't know how it ended up in that situation, maybe it tried to jump the fence.  But it had a leash and collar on.

dog bread for fighting has no place in the home.

Lol more wise words from LDV..

Have you ever owned a pit? I have and they can be fine, its all the owner... not the dog.

I agree with LDV on this one. Pits are just bombs waiting to go off.

"Mine was fine" means nothing. Anecdotal evidence is worthless. Look at the statistics on bites and deaths due to dog attacks. Do you see a pattern? And please don't give me a soliloque on the difference between the Staffordshire and the American Pit Bull. They are one in the same.

Better kill all the Akitas, Shar-Pei's and Bulldogs too.  All were used in fighting, and during their fighting term, bred for it.

Bullet time.

Sorry but it has now attacked 2 people and savaged the queens dog.

After the first attack on a person it earned Anne the dubious honour of being the first royal to have a criminal record after she was prosecuted for failing to control the animal.

If it was anybody else but princess Anne the matter would not be up for debate, the dog would already have been ordered destroyed.
