On the New Year it is the custom in my family to express what we are thankfull for.

I am particularlly thankful for the absolutely fascinating discourse that has taken place on this board over the past year regarding the economy, the different systems of government,
the nature of Freedom and Liberty, and the arguments pro and con of every significant event that has occurred during the past year.
 
I have found this board to be so informative and thought provoking at different times that I have come back again and again to review what people have said here over the last year to help me define my own beliefs.

I am thankful for the quality of so many of the posts.

with the medical situation as it has been the last year, believe it or not, being able to have a decent discussion without leaving the house has probably saved what is left of my sanity.
