Saur cited musical reasons for not liking Creed. He summed it up pretty well.
1. Scott Stapp is an egotistical holier-than-thou born-again moron. My opinion here is based on seeing him in interviews on TV, seeing them live when they were promoting their 2nd album, and also based on the way that he portrays himself in videos.
2. Their music is crap. "One" is their only good song; there are a few others from the first album that are OK. Since the first album, their motto seems to be "if we turn up the distortion enough, nobody will be able to tell how much our music sucks."
3. I bought "Human Clay" before I saw them in concert, to get acquainted with it a bit so I'd know some songs at the concert. On top of that $15 and the $50 ticket price, I felt jipped out of a good two hours of concert time when Our Lady Peace and Oleander (the co-headliner and opening band, respectively) could have been playing.
So that's why I don't like Creed.
