I would ... but HiTech has already spoken on the subject  .... So I'll accept that the spawn points are 'working as intended '.

And keeping Shiva on topic is harder than herding cats , or even organizing Libertarians ...

HT, if he's right about spawning enemy GV's getting to a base town faster than friendlies can from that base's VH, he's got a good point that should be looked at. That's a pretty bogus situation.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

I say, keep the remote spawns, but have an airfield GV that spawns between it and the town.

And give us more of a ground vehicle library to choose from.

that's true, but going even further to the opposite by forcing no spawns at all is also thereby even further bogus.

You could have a certain number of spawn exits, and have the entry point direct you to one of them at random, so that to effectively stop any arrival point for GVs, you'd need to destroy all of those random, marked or unmarked, points, sorts of neutral mini-VHs or simply rally points with minimal defense or structural strength.  Sort of like the hotspots in Finrus.
